WHITE MOUNTAINEERING X PAUL&SHARK

A revolutionary approach to outdoor wear

Paul&Shark confirms its partnership with White Mountaineering, the Japanese fashion brand, with a new, special men capsule collection for Spring Summer 2022.

The sky at dusk, the line of the unexplored horizon, the crisp air that brushes against the rock and the face: the suggestions that inspire the White Mountaineering x Paul&Shark collection cross paths with a new landscape, a new path of exploration. We begin a journey to discover unknown frontiers through the urban outdoor, with a new capsule collection that combines high-performance fabrics with cool and discreet elegance.  Paul&Shark continues to create a new language, after collaborating with visionaries such as Nick Wooster and Greg Lauren, by meeting the thinking of the young Japanese creative Yosuke Aizawa on the themes of design, functionality and technology. Aizawa, graduated from Tama Art University and later a collaborator of Junya Watanabe, founded White Mountaineering in 2006 focusing on usability and technology applied to the great outdoors. His innovative vision, together with Paul&Shark's heritage and made in Italy craftsmanship, articulates a collection of blue and white, high quality, high performance outdoor clothing with White Mountaineering's signature modern aesthetic and digital logo print applied to jackets, waistcoats, sweatshirts, t-shirts and trousers.

In the new capsule collection, Yosuke Aizawa has redesigned the iconic Typhoon jackets, Paul&Shark's latest essential outerwear: detachable layers composed of a mix of technical fabrics such as Typhoon 20000, the innovative treatment - exclusively engineered by Paul&Shark - able to guarantee high waterproof and windproof performance in all weather conditions. Through an exclusive and revolutionary process, every single square centimetre of fabric - completely water-repellent - is able to resist a water column of 20 metres and very strong winds. The membrane is designed with a highly breathable molecular structure that facilitates air circulation and guarantees maximum breathability and dispersion of excess body heat.
